About 55 employees work in our department - all of them absolute specialists in their field.
Daily routines in clinical interventions of our customers in hospitals all over the world require reliably maintained devices and equipment. That is what we are aiming for with all our commitment and energy. Customers need our products in a functioning condition in order to perform well in their medical profession, secure their investment, and to maintain the highest safety standards for their patients.
The key to our service excellence is speed and quality. Availability of the products for the surgeons is most important. In-depth product technology knowledge and efficient processes enable fast reaction times and speedy repairs. Our top notch testing equipment can prove safety and reliability of the product in the hands of the physician.
Biomedical engineers and service technicians form the core of our departments. Backed by administrative and support personnel we created a great, customer-focused service team able to communicate with the whole world. We are skilled in all after-sales activities like inspection, repair, maintenance and updates, conducting technical training and making sure all parts and tools are available.
About 40 employees work in our different technical teams within Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH. Together with the technicians also in our international service units, we are easily a three-digit force in the workshops and field service organization.
Interacting with passion and devotion on a daily basis with lifesavers, and providing top-class products and solutions while contributing to better healthcare around the world is our job. The results of these efforts and interactions contribute in a direct and indirect way to our great success. And allow us to be a respected competitor in the worldwide market place.

More than 90 sales professionals in the headquarters and more than 500 worldwide work in our global sales department.
More than 1200 employees and a large number of business partners depend on a well-functioning and highly available Erbe IT. Worldwide and every day around the clock. Our claim is that all users of Erbe’s IT services can perform their tasks smoothly and efficiently. And thus offer a great service for our customers and ultimately also for the patient.
State-of-the-art workstations, perfect communication solutions and secure IT applications for a wide range of application scenarios make our processes highly effective yet lean. To this end, we have IT specialists who design processes and IT solutions so that they harmonize perfectly.
IT professionals with different skills and education, who have turned their passion into their profession, implement topics related to IT infrastructure, IT applications and IT support with the highest level of commitment and motivation.
Currently we are more than 30 employees within the worldwide organization.
Evidence-based medicine is not just words – it’s our passion. We improve medical care for patients by providing expertise in clinical studies and knowledge management. We work in close collaboration with the best physicians worldwide in order to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of our medical devices with significant clinical benefits.
We generate our own data with preclinical and clinical investigations and use modern data processing and automation for intelligent knowledge management. The sources we use in our scientific and clinical research are international medical-scientific publications and databases as well as information from medical societies. We plan and conduct clinical studies worldwide, analyze the data and publish the results in scientific journals.
Our intercultural team is very diverse and consists of scientists, medical technicians and physicians.
We are an international department with 12 members.
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We have our supply chains firmly under control. That‘s why we can track at any time where the delivery to our customers or any of our subsidiaries is currently located. Or to one of the more than 120 specialist dealers worldwide. Particularly in global supply chain management, adherence to delivery dates, high quality, efficiency and transparency – both externally and internally – are enormously important to our customers. Achieving all these goals at optimal process costs, direct-to-customer, is what drives us again and again every day.
Helping to shape processes and control the flow of goods is what we use our state-of-the-art warehouse management software for. With our high export share of over 80 %, our own customs clearance team takes care of smooth processes. And our purchasing department uses a worldwide range of goods according to the motto: only the best for our products. Always the best therapy for the patient.
Our purchasing and logistics teams include economists, business school graduates, technicians and logistics specialists.
Around 15 colleagues are working in the purchasing department and 50 in logistics.
Our department manages the payment flows in the company. We are therefore involved in all business processes, and this means that we all have a great deal of responsibility.
Our financial systems, when applied to the company policy, can be compared to a car’s navigation system. We know the target budget and always know exactly where we currently are. That‘s exactly why we are so important for the company - and generally important for all of us. We see ourselves as internal accounting consultants for the entire company.
Monthly and annual financial statements are an important tool for us. They enable us to present a financial picture to the outside world, which in turn is used by stakeholders such as banks and suppliers to evaluate us. As we are in an excellent financial position, our financial statements are always in the best possible shape.
Our financial processes are internationalized. And hardly any other department in the company uses the opportunities of digitalization as intensively as we do.
In our team are accounting management specialists, accountants and clerks.
Approx. 20 employees work in the finance department.
We see ourselves as the interface to almost all internal departments - and to our Notified Body and authorities. National and international. We assure, that the medical devices are in compliance with the relevant international standards. And we take care of the registrations and approvals which are necessary to distribute the medical devices worldwide. Without us, without approvals, no medical professional would be able to use our safe high-quality products in order to offer the best possible treatment for his patient.
We use our QM system to manage our tasks. We are constantly improving our processes by monitoring global regulations and identifying and, above all, meeting new requirements. We accompany the products throughout their entire life cycle, from development to clinical application. Findings from this process are of benefit to product quality and safety.
In our department we have quality engineers and planners, biologists, physicians, medical doctors and technicians.
We are more than 60 highly qualified specialists in our teams.

We actively work in close cooperation with employees and managers and our works council to ensure that our employees feel comfortable. When designing operational processes and organizational development in alignment with the corporate strategy, we always keep the well-being of our employees in mind.
Modern integrated HR software maps all relevant processes and offers managers and employees self-services.
We apply the ERA-collective agreement and negotiate works agreements with our works council. In personnel development, we work together with experienced partner companies, but also design and train ourselves.
Our employees are HR developers, HR business partners, recruiters, payroll specialists and HR experts. Travel and fleet specialists work in mobility management.
25 employees work in the human resources department in Tübingen. A further 10 work in our international subsidiaries and are responsible for local personnel work.
Our mission is to develop visions and make them come true! We invent and investigate innovative technologies and products, always with the aim of providing better medical care for the patient. We monitor future topics and key technologies, combine state-of-the-art high-tech with specific know-how and test them in our own research lab. There are many challenges for our interdisciplinary and international team, and creative solutions are required every day to master them - with the goal of helping patients and satisfying our users!
We have an interdisciplinary and flexible mindset that enables us to think outside the box. In order to stay aware of current and future trends, we work in close relationship with leading physicians and outstanding academic and industrial partners and attend international congresses and fairs. With the knowledge we have gained, we use internally or externally manufactured prototypes and test them at an early stage in our research lab according to GLP standards in order to get acceptance by leading users worldwide.
We are a team of engineers, research scientists, data scientists, designers, prototype engineers, technical assistants and people from many other disciplines who work hand in hand with complementary skills. Experienced employees and young colleagues contribute their skills to the project work on a daily basis. Students also contribute to our success with their internships and Bachelor’s-, Master’s and Doctoral theses.

We are the team for the well-being of all our employees. We take care of electricity, water, air conditioning, ventilation and sanitation - everything you need in a company building. To keep everything flowing, our technology has to work day and night. We are aware of this responsibility, and for this reason we are available around the clock.
We are also responsible for process environments so that our products can be produced and stored safely. After all, the clinical user must be able to fully rely on our products for his patient.
Our company buildings are all equipped with state-of-the-art technology, far beyond the legal requirements. We plan our building technology in such a way that we constantly and sustainably optimize the energy balance. This includes our solar technology, building automation as well as our combined heat and power plant. A high degree of digitalization, automation and diagnostic functions help us in our daily work.
We are technicians, foremen, janitors - general specialists in energy management and building services, electrical and electronic, heating and ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and fire protection.
