Rangendingen – unveiling of the construction model at the Erbe Elektromedizin site
The project “Erbe 4.i – we keep developing” recently launched by the Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH is soon to take shape. With building permission in place since this past February, construction companies will begin their work at the Erbe Elektromedizin site on the edge of Rangendingen in the coming weeks.
On Friday, July 2nd, management staged a festive unveiling of the construction model. Christian O. Erbe and the architects from io-consultants of Heidelberg gave the kickoff for start of construction. Secretary of State Annette Widmann-Mauz (Member of Bundestag), Secretary of Commerce Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut (Member of Landtag) as well as Manfred Haug, the Mayor of Rangendingen, were given a good look at the sustainable and future-oriented design of the building by its architects.
As Christian O. Erbe reports, “Our enterprise continues to grow, and this calls for investments in our infrastructures. After having invested quite a bit into our Tübingen headquarters in recent years, we are now shifting our focus to the expansion of our production site in Rangendingen. We plan to put up a competence center here that will encompass development, manufacturing and logistics of surgical instruments.”
“I am very glad to see the Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH setting new standards with their modern, sustainable building that provides an architectural framework for further innovations from Baden-Württemberg in the area of medical technology,” says Secretary of Commerce Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut in response.
